Lawrence D. Weltman

Born and raised in Toronto and married with children. Mr. Weltman is a graduate of the law school of the University of Western Ontario in London where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1981.

He articled for a year in the personal injury firm of Sommers & Roth. After graduating the Bar Admission programme at Osgoode Hall in Toronto, he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1983. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Lawyer Referral Service.

Mr. Weltman was the founding member of the partnership, Kushner & Weltman, where he specialized in personal injury cases but obtained a breadth of knowledge and experience in other areas of law including criminal, family, wills and estates, real estate and business law.

He has been in private practice for over 25 years. Since 2000, he has practised law in association with Daniel Bernstein in the law offices of Weltman, Bernstein.
